Ode to A Ode: Marksmanship Never Felt So Good
Jeff Klepper
When love was new I only thought of you
When love was true my mind could only think of you
But now that time has passed its hand over our love
There is no longer the taste of everlasting love
No remnants of youths last fleeting embrace
Just blundered like before, by an English face
Where subtle lies became bigger knives than once thought
When love was new I could have never guessed this plot

Silhouettes and Marionettes
Jeff Klepper
In autumns arms the leaves sleep crisply
Only after summers kiss leaves they leave too easily
But in evenings cold and nights so quiet–
Do we dare to think that we can be defiant?
But let it rest; for the calm before the storm is great
Where neither, or, is greater than the last ingrate
We shall atone for our greatest sins.
In modernisms last great give in
Fortune and forgiveness carry the torch to the Greeks
To swallow us whole and to devour the meek
Let the wires hang loose and frayed
For we are the chosen, beaten, and betrayed.

Right now I thought I would write something short and random. Since I have been way too busy to sit down and write anything lately, I thought I would rant about: outside morning noise. Currently I wake up about 6 times a morning before my alarm clocks even goes off due to street noise and multiple garbage trucks picking up trash at 5 am. I know I could close my window and solve the problem but my apartment become way too hot and sleeping in 80 degree weather with covers on is just inhumane. I actually have been looking into ear plugs. But then I would never hear my alarm clock. So that is not going to work. I should just invest in an air conditioner or something but I guess I will start a donate to: Jeff so he can have air conditioning at the beach. Well if anyones feeling generous please feel free to give me funds for my new A/C. If you don’t I won’t hold anything against you. But for now I will continue to hear the sound of the industrial world from my bedroom. More new stuff to come as I adjust to hectic life for the first few weeks of school. Stay quiet. Mahalo.
Update (5 minutes after writing the first entry): Regatone music is blasting from my neighbor while I am trying to read 18th Century Literature). Sometimes I don’t even know why I bother complaining about stuff. I HATE Regatone. Let us all just scream in spanish behind lots of bass and shitty horns!
