No, This Is Not About The Island From ‘Lost’

The Island
Jeff Klepper

We set out to see the island amongst the waves and countless empty graves
Cherish the ivy that grows on the trees because it is the last of this you will see
The heat the island radiates manifests itself in the inhabitant’s houses amongst the caves
The wildlife is less than tame, the beast’s stand tall and strong along the rocks above the sea
The evil the island hides has never been seen, nor will it–
There are devilish things we were never meant to see with our eyes on this earth
Man is a lot like the flame from which gave him light; easily snuffed out when he is beaten down
Nature is like man; immeasurable forces compounded within surf and sun, the perfector of destruction

The Island drifts out to sea, as we get closer to the heart of the island we learn it is not just the land we must fear, it is our own minds fragility

The mind dims as the heat envelops the senses, the earth rumbles and shakes, the ground opens up just like a demons door mat

Faint and stumble, man will be humbled, the great open space eats at our blasphemous nature
We hear a loud booming voice that bellows, “Take a seat, you are in for a long wait here”.

Looks like someone is writing again, well sort of.

How Odd: Revelations of A Sick Young Man
Jeff Klepper

How Odd, How Odd, this concept of God.
Could not it be a tragic charade?
A fate worse than death, a terrible rib?
A fruitful play based upon a fib.
Look here, look here, come see the parades!
The miles of worshipers dancing like shades.
Of tone and virtue of splash and splendors maids.
Those foolish lip-locks distorted amongst the haze.
There in lust and searching for truth; contemplation’s tears are wept.
Those lackadaisical days are better left unmet.

Through The Glasses Of An Optimist

The Confederacy Is Dead But You Sure Can’t Tell The Difference

The world is no longer ours
It is just misguided bewilderment ,confused with importance from our man made tales of granger
But it has left us desolate and pretentious.Repulsed and incoherent.
Now it is the time to renounce what we have learned and put to use the boundless potential we have left.
No more consequence for country, no more apathy and election.
Renounce, renounce, denounce, my friend I promise you on this day you will never be the jury at your own trial again.
It is time to reincarnate the dead who meant it when they said, “man is man and god is irrelevant”.
Hear me now, heed the call. The only chance for meaning; it is in our reach.

Condemn our enemies and practice what you preach.

I got an Email today….This is the second rejection letter from them. Actually, this time they were nice enough to send a rejection letter. Yay, progress.
